The short version: we collect what we need to make and ship your magnets, we use your photos only to make your order, and we never sell your information.
This policy explains how Oh My Magnet Co., LLC, an Indiana business ("Oh My Magnet Co.," "we," "us"), handles information when you visit ohmymagnetco.com, order through our store at shop.ohmymagnetco.com, or order from us at an event.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), shipping address, and what you ordered.
- Your photos: the pictures you upload so we can print them on your magnets.
- Event inquiries: the details you send us about your event, such as the date, location and guest count.
- Payment information: payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Basic website data: like most websites, our hosting and store providers may record technical information such as your browser type, device and pages visited, and may use cookies needed for your cart and checkout.
How we use it
- To make, pack and ship your order, and to contact you about it.
- To answer event inquiries and send quotes.
- To remake an order if something arrives damaged or misprinted.
- To send occasional emails about new products or sales, but only if you sign up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep records we're required to keep for taxes and accounting.
Your photos
Your photos are used only to make your order. We won't post them, share them, or use them in our advertising unless you give us permission first. We keep order photos for 90 days after your order ships so we can handle any remakes, and then delete them from our own files.
Photos uploaded at events: at weddings and other hosted events, the photos guests upload are also shared with the event hosts. For weddings, the couple receives a copy of every photo guests send in. The sign at our table says so before you upload.
Who we share information with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- MagFlow, the platform that runs our online store and event ordering, which stores your order and uploaded photos.
- Payment processors, which handle your payment.
- Shipping carriers, which need your name and address to deliver your order.
- Our website host and email provider.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable service providers and limit who can see your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing admin@ohmymagnetco.com. We may need to keep some records, such as past order and payment records, for tax and legal reasons.
Children
Our website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Parents are welcome to order magnets with photos of their kids.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
